SHREEKHAND

Ingredients:---

Curd - 1/2 kg,
Cream - 1 cup,
Sugar - 1/2 cup (grounded),
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp,
Saffron - A few strands,
Pista and almonds - 1 tbsp (crushed),
Tinned fruits - 1 cup (chopped),

Method

1. Tie curd in a muslim cloth for 3-4 hours. (This should be preferably hung in the fridge to prevent the curd turning sour).
2. Transfer the hung curd to a bowl. Add cream and ground sugar to it.
3. Mix well till the sugar dissolves.
4. Rub saffron into 1 tbsp milk. Keep aside.
5. Mix in cardamom powder and dissolved saffron and half of the nuts.
6. Mix in the tinned fruits. Chill for 1-2 hours.
7. Serve chilled topped with remaining nuts.
